Q: Do you worry that your belief system will create a rift in potential readers?

A: Nah, not really. I mean, I don’t worry about it. Other readers might be intrigued, and want to read what a Muslim has to say on the subject, especially a Western convert with over three centuries of Christian-American heritage. We’ve all heard the standard Jewish and Christian polemics, so much so that many people are sick of them. More open-minded readers might like to hear a fresh take on the topic, and that’s where I come in.
