A: To begin with, I visit every year, usually more than once. I was born in America, and my American heritage extends back to the 1600’s, well before the colonies declared independence from England. I love my country, and when you love something, you are saddened to see it heading in a bad direction. Rampant consumerism, loss of family ties, destruction of social fabric, lagging morals and failing religiosity all suggest a society in decline. I am saddened to see this great country suffering so many problems, and I struggle to think how I can contribute to a better tomorrow. Maybe, if we all pull together, stick to some good old Golden Rule ethics and basic religious standards, maybe, just maybe, we can make a positive difference.
