Q: What would you say is the biggest complaint by Middle Eastern people about Americans?

A: The complaint really isn’t against Americans, as a people. Rather, it’s against America’s intrusive foreign policy and the intolerable imposition of American values on foreign lands. This complaint is not unique to the Middle East. There is global dislike of America’s intrusions. Other countries don’t hate America for its freedoms, it hates America for not respecting their freedoms – freedoms like, for example, being left alone to run their countries, worship their religions and live their culture, whether compatible with America’s values or not.
