A brilliant novel. The Returned by Dr. Laurence Brown is a compelling story about two brothers who face grave danger and struggle to survive. Dr. Brown lures you into this story with each vividly intense chapter. I loved it! Dr. Brown has created a novel with fascinating characters and an action-packed plot.I look forward to reading his next novel. This book would make a great movie.

Original movie material!! A total heart thumping action/adventure book where usually only movies with loud surround speakers can give the same experience. Absolutely movie material!  Kudos to Dr. Laurence Brown! Another winner!

This was an excellent read. This is not my typical type of novel but I was so anxious to read this book after reading the Eighth Scroll also by this author. Immediately when the story begins you are pulled in by the action and adventure. It was such a well-balanced, well-written novel. I loved the bond demonstrated between the brothers and the many lessons in survival the story taught. I could not put it down and finished reading it in two days. Get your copy, you will not be disappointed.

A page turner. An excellent book. I really am awestruck by Dr. Brown’s use of imagery. He describes the situation so well, without being long-winded, which makes his novels very captivating. There was never a dull moment in this story. would highly recommend this book.
