Q: What is your next book about?

A: In my next book Nathan Jones is a teenager in 1965 who survives an ill-fated expedition into the Amazon rainforest. He returns forty-five years later as a social anthropologist, only to find that the native Indian tribe who saved his life do not recognize him. Worse yet, they have transformed his memory into a myth and deified him. Ultimately, he is forced to fight for his life against the descendents of the Indians who rescued him as a teenager, and against the false god he became in their primitive minds.
